Grand Opening for Christians of the Sabbath Day Church in Khust, Ukraine
January 3, 2015

Posted January 31, 2015

We are hapy to provide you with photos of the opening of the new Sabbatarian Church in Khust where I have visited often. See story and photos of how this all came to be in our previous story.

We helped provide some of the funding through the Schapen Foundation ( www.scharpenfoundation.org) which supports Christian Sabbath related efforts. The Scott and Carolyn Scharpen along with Bev and me were invited to attend, however, were not able to go. Ukraine is in a crisis with the war in the east. Young men are being taken from this area to fight in Donetsk. A general mobilization is called for all men up to age 50. Not easy times. Enjoy some of the photos of the first services in the new building and be sure to see the previous story

In neigboring town of Irshava, billboard reads: "Ukraine will rise from its knees when it stands on its knees before God"
