2008 Nonprofit Solutions

First Annual Conference at IUPUI

April 16, 2008

LifeNets was asked to participate and contribute to the first annual Nonprofit Solutions conference at IUPUI (Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis). It was part of the address by Better Business Bureau coordinator Joseph Eldridge about the Better Business Bureau Standards for Charity Accountability that is used by the BBB to evaluate charities and nonprofit organizations. LifeNets was asked to speak on the evaluation process from its point of view as well as give insight to what it means to be an Accredited Charity.

There were excellent presentations about maximizing branding to support your mission, using hidden talent, building capacity, board retention and evaluation, addressing conflict in healthy ways, utilizing strengths of your human resources through Myers-Briggs, building non-profit sustainability and much more.

LifeNets was very pleased to be a part of and contribute to this conference!
