• Construction and Fundraising Progress

I received the following blueprint of the new Malakia Clinic/Birthing Center that we are going to start constructing July 4, 2000 when Andre van Belkum and I will be visiting.  The dimensions of the building are about 50 x 75 feet.  This is a very exciting development.  The entire project will cost $20,000.  We have raised a little over $8,000.  Six thousand has been pledged and we're working on the rest.  

Two hospitals have offered to equip the hospital. Mr. Tom Kerestes of Wisconsin has arranged for furniture.  We will be shipping furniture and equipment by container from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
