Here is a letter that Bill Jahns, pastor of Salt Lake City, Utah and Boise, Idaho received from Gladstone Chonde dated April 27th. I would like to point out that we are still working on the container of life-sustaining humanitarian aid that still has not left the United States as of July 1998. This is a project that we have been working on over a year and much has been collected. The Department of Defense will be paying the shipping costs of this container. If you have any desire to help out with this project, kindly send email to malawi@kubik.org. We appreciate all the help we have received. At the last minute before shipping we are going to load the container with extra food, salt, medicine and anything else that will go....

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Jahns,
First of all, my wife and I wish to thank and Mrs. Jahns for your messages of encouragement and hope which you sent us in this hard time when we are mourning for our daughter Jane. As Christians we await patiently for the day when God's wonderful promises to His people will be fulfilled.
Bill JahnsIt's hard to find words that can even begin to tell you how wonderfully thoughtful you have been to send us words of encouragement.
We will appreciate any help that can manage as you asked in your card to us.

Mr. Leslie McCullough was our Regional Director in this area. We know him personally and we liked his administration. We will be more than happy if you'll start sending us the medicines. We need them badly.
We thank God for providing us helpers like you. We never expected this help. God bless you good people...
Our love,
Gladstone and Alice Chonde
