I just received a letter and photos from Gladstone Chonde dated May 4, 1999 showing the unloading of the container that we shipped from St. Paul, Minnesota in early November 1998. It has been satisfying to know that aid that was collected arrived at the intended destination for the intended recipients.

Dear Mr. Kubik,
Greetings from Malawi!
I hope you received my email which I sent after the container was released as of April 19, 1999.
We have no suitable words to use in thanking all who contributed to the success of sending the fits to us. Special thanks to your hard working spirit which has helped to get the container.

unloading the container April 14, 1999We tried to take pictures of the container and the people off-loading it. As I said in the email, there not locks on the container, they keys were not used.
The pictures are not clear. Still, I hope they will serve their purpose for which they were intended.
