Deb and Mamadou Diallo Deliver
LifeNets Shipment to New York City
(captions by Deb Diallo)
The signs we made right before taking off on Friday. These got us a lot of attention on the road.
Me waving the flag while driving through Ohio. We carried the flag with us and waved it to people who gave us thumbs up signs and waved at us.
Mamadou standing by the truck just after we arrived in New Jersey.
National Guard members (unfortunately, I didn't get names; there were several of them, and they changed shifts in the middle of unloading our stuff) unloading at the warehouse in Long Island.
A view of the truck, nearly empty. Souleymane is standing there.
