Pillow Project
for LifeNets
Malawi
Livelihood
Development
(Final Bids --
December 18, 2006 11:59 PM)
Bid on these
pillows! Support the LifeNets Livelihood Development Project in Malawi,
that enables people to make a living by helping them with their small
businesses. Get a tax deduction for your purchase.
All proceeds will go to the
original creator of the pillowcase cover in Malawi. They will then be
able to buy more material and do this again.
These pillows
began as cloths richly embroidered by a group of ladies in Malawi. The
fine workmanship of this embroidery is impressive. Upon arriving in
America, the cloths were transformed into pillows by the creative work
of Mary Bowie, a member of the Kalamazoo United Church of God
congregation. These unique pillows are now ready for a special place in
your home.
