LifeNets
is a (501 (c) (3) organization helping to connect
wheelchairs that are no longer needed to those who have a need.
HOW IT WORKS:
If you have a chair to donate, or if you have something you need, let us know what it is. Please fill out the appropriate online form above and submit it to us.
WHEN MAKING A DONATION
We will post it on our website at www.lifenets.org/wheelchair. When we find someone who fits the need, preferably in your area, we will call you and put you in contact with them. We do not charge for this service but donations to LifeNets are appreciated. Once a match is found and delivery is made we will send you a tax deductible receipt. We regret that we cannot fulfill international requests.
WHEN MAKING A REQUEST, we will keep the request on file until we find a suitable chair to fill the need. Please provide us with a detailed description of what the need is. If shipping of a manual chair is necessary, we do ask the recipient to pay the shipping. (It is very difficult to ship power chairs but the manual chairs can be shipped). For power chairs, do you have someone who could travel a particular distance to pick up the power chair? How far would you be willing to travel to do so?
