FORUM to hold wheelchair race
benefiting LifeNets and Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital
Strong visual opportunities
What: The First FORUM Wheelchair Competition will be held on Monument
Circle to raise awareness for a national community service project that
focuses on collecting used wheelchairs for distribution locally and abroad
to needy people. Local wheelchair athletes will race to benefit the
Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana and LifeNets.
FORUM will host the event, which will become an annual competition. FORUM, previously named Telco Credit Union, has also committed to providing a monetary donation of $7,500 to LifeNets over the next five years.
