Because of the severity of category 5 supertyphoon Haiyan that hit the island of Leyte on Friday, November 8th, LifeNets is compelled to help with relief through our friends in the Philippines. They are already traveling to and organizing relief for vicitms in this area. I visited in and became persoanlly acquainted with many wonderful people here in July. I wrote about my visit to the Leyte/Tacloban area July 16-18, 2013 in my TravelPod blod at:

At this writing the information about exactly how many and who perished is unknown. We will report information about the circumstances of specific people as the news comes to us.

We have already received offers of shipping through air carriers and have known trusted people we work with. 100% of your donation will be used to person to person relief and will be reported here.

More information will be coming as we get it.
