What is Still Needed for LifeNets Projects?
Last updated November 1, 2007

Below is a summary of where we are in the various projects for LifeNets. We are able to complete projects as individuals, groups and churches are able to provide us the means to fulfill them.  The chart below shows what is being done and this page will be continuously updated.

Our biggest need is your continuous support and becoming your Charity of Choice.  This way we continue providing support to all the projects below.  Our most effective means of helping is through cash. It saves us shipping and time and we typically leverage contributions 20 times over in matching help, buying medicine at pennies on a dollar and many other concessions.

You can also help effortlessly through these means

For those who ask about collection about white shirts and blouses, please click here. (look below chart, too)

Call us at 888 821-0095 or email volunteer@lifenets.org if you can do something special for any of the areas below.

Unless we are shipping a container to a region, it is much more effective and efficient to help people in developing areas with cash to help them purchase locally the items needed. We do this through a responsible LifeNets representative on location in the various areas.

What is Still Needed??

Sample of white shirts and blouses needed for
Guatemala and El Salvador

Collecting white shirts and socks

Would you like to volunteer to be the white shirt and sock coordinator in your area.  We are collecting white shirts for the children in El Salvador and Guatemala. The white shirt and white socks are part of the required school uniform that the children have to wear and we will be sending these down periodically with people visiting Guatemala. We are simply asking people that have the time and are willing, to check garage sales, thrift shops, sales, etc. for good quality children's shirts.  Periodically they can be sent to a central collection point to be distributed to those traveling to Guatemala.  The requirements for the shirts and socks are as follows

Fundraisers / Garage sales

Many people have held garage sales to fund projects. This seems to be a fairly successful fundraiser and it allows many to participate.  Almost everyone has something they can donate to a garage sale!  Others are still doing the old standby, the fruit sale, while others have sold candles, etc.  There are endless possibilities in this area.

Experienced grant writers

If you have had experience in writing for grants, we could use your help in obtaining government and foundation funding for some of our projects.  Please call Victor Kubik toll-free at 888 821-0095 or contact on email at kubik@lifenets.org if you can help us.
