LifeNets Computer School
Opens in Khust, Ukraine
November 30, 2000LifeNets opens computer school for Khust children November 30, 2000. Since we first announced this on May 18 earlier this year much has been done. First, a radio Internet connection from Khust and Tyachev to an Internet backbone has been completed. LifeNets has provided the local ISP 56K Internet access that goes beyond Khust to Tyachev and on to Uglya.
The first day of computer training for Khust children started November 30th. These photos are among the first emails from the improved Khust Internet connection.
Classes will also begin in Uglya. We give special thanks to George and Beverly August of Long Beach, California for making this a reality.
