South Africa Scholarship Testimonial

November 24, 2024

To the LifeNets Family,

I would like to grab this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to Our Heavenly Father through Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for His call, through that l had access to our local pastor and his wife, Mr and Mrs Fisher who saw potential in me and vouched for me to Mr and s Kubik.

Four years ago, l couldn’t wait for this day. The day l would write down about how the LifeNets family turned my life around. I know with the excitement that l have at the moment words aren’t enough to express my gratefulness, but l write to the best of my ability.

I completed my high school in 2015. Though others were excited about going to the University, l l knew that there was only a slim chance that l will attend University, that’s something l had to make peace with.

They say there is a story behind every success, l will add from experience that there are people who plays an important role behind everyone’s success story, like the one l write.

Six years after my high school, after throwing in the towel and call it quits about my future educational endeavours, a local deacon persuaded me to reach out to our local Pastor and Elder Mr Fisher. He sympathised with me and explained my story to the Kubiks, who took it to heart and without hesitation decided to help me with my studies.

I won’t forget to this day the email l got from Mrs Kubik about the scholarship, it was a lifechanging moment for me, my wife and my children. We celebrated like no other for it was a miracle to us to receive such help from someone. Someone we barely knew but was so much concerned about our future.

The journey started in 2021; I was studying online while working for the first two years of my studies. It wasn’t easy to balance work, family and studies but the brethren and the Kubiks were there to my rescue. LifeNets helped me with the resources needed for my school. LifeNets even went an extra mile by helping this entire year after losing my job last year, I don’t know if only saying thank you so much is enough to express gratitude to such kindness.
I will write again in March after graduation and share some photos to the LifeNets family.

Thank you once again to the LifeNets Family, you have changed my family’s lives. Now l have got an opportunity l never imagined l was going to have. An opportunity to apply for a job abroad and change my children’s lives.

Regards,
Conrade Zinhumwe
