Malawi January 2025 Food Relief Distribution

From Pastor Gracious Mpilangwe, Blantyre, Malawi

February 3, 2025

On behalf of the United Church of God here in Blantyre, and on my own behalf, I would like express our profound gratitude and appreciation for your generous support to this church in time of need. We were all struggling to buy maize which is our staple food commodity. Thanks so much for reading the scarcity of the food situation here in Malawi. That relief support has brought a sigh of relief to many families here in Blantyre and Mayaka. All members are saying the same thing “ thank you very much for a timely assistance in time of need “ Members are now able to eat food with their families. We hope this relief food will take us to next harvest period. Please extend our gratitude to the Board of Trustees for approving the financial assistance rendered to us here in Malawi in particular Blantyre.

You have done a lot to us too numerous to list down. Thank you very much for all those things both the present and the past. Currently, we’re now receiving good rains and their hope of good harvest this year.

We wish you all the best and good health in all your endeavors.

With warm greetings from
Gracious Mpilangwe

Attached herein are some of the pictures I managed to take during the distribution process of the relief items. In most areas it was raining and some the rains had just stopped making it had to take pictures and also to reach each and every compound of the beneficiaries. For Mayaka brethren the items were offloaded at Mr Namatapanya's place, for Kachere brethren the items were offloaded at Mrs Chiumbuzo Snr's compound and for Chirimba it was dropped at Dennis' place. All beneficiaries received the items and expressed their gratitudes both emphatically and sincerely

Kind regards.
