As the war in Ukraine drags through its third year, our LifeNets volunteers continue their valiant work in going into war zone to help the vulnerable. They also care for the usual work of orphans and life. Also, now thought is given to prepare for a third winter during this crisis time for a nation and so many people we know. Here is the latest communication from Vlad Yurishko who is helping us

Hello, dear Victor and Beverly.
It's been a long time since you heard from me, so I decided to chronicle for you all the projects that LifeNets has done in Ukraine and Germany.

Vynogradiv orphanage
On 28.06.2024, Salvation Church ministers and LifeNets volunteers Dmitry Fedorishin and Ivan Prunitsa visited the Vynogradiv orphanage and delivered humanitarian aid from the LifeNets Foundation.
This is a state-run institution, but we received information from them about the need for children's clothing, food and children's hygiene.
We sent it to this orphanage:
- Children's clothes and shoes
- Long-term storage food in tin cans
Mother's House in Slavuta
On Sunday, August 4, Salvation Church ministers and LifeNets volunteers Ivan Palchey and Dmytro Fedoryshyn visited the Mother's House charitable institution in Slavuta.
This is a private Christian organization that exists solely on voluntary donations from caring people. LifeNets has been helping this orphanage for about 3 years.
On August 4, the brothers brought food to the “Mother's House”:
- Food in tin cans
- Cereals
- Sweets
- Electrical appliances
- Household chemicals
- Hygiene products and diapers
Some of these items were donated by us from Germany, and the rest were purchased with funds from LifeNets

Shelter in Zhytomyr region for evacuees from Donetsk region
Later that day, the brothers went to the Zhytomyr region where a shelter for people who were evacuated from the Donetsk region during 2023-2024 was organized at the church in the school premises.

Germany. July 31, 2024
In July 2024, Elvira Siegel introduced me to the staff of the AWo Seniorenzentrum Michael-Herler-Heim Retirement Home in Singen. They offered us wheelchairs, beds for bedridden people, and other various medical devices that would be very useful for people in Ukraine. Of course, these are not new things, but they are still in good enough condition to be used.
I rented a van to transport these things to the container. Together with friends who always help us. Serhiy Yurishko, Dima Rookanych, David and Ruvim Yukhymchuk.
