How we provide aid from Germany to Ukraine

July 22, 2024

For more than two difficult years, LifeNets has been bringing in humanitarian aid to Western Ukraine that is then redirected into the war zones.   Our point of contact in Singen, Germany is Vlad Yurishko and his family from Western Ukraine.

Support and supplies come to us from a number of German non-profit organizations.   Vlad describes who they are.

TAFEL Singen

A non-profit organization with branches all over Germany. This organization takes food from factories and stores that are about to expire. They then sell these products very cheaply in their stores to people who have the status of "needy".

I got to know the director of Tafel Singen, Christina, through my friend Vadim Mayer, who has been living in Germany for over 30 years.

From time to time Christina gives us (LifeNets) food that LifeNets transports to Ukraine.

UFRW

UFRW is a non-profit charitable organization in Rielasingen-Worblingen near Singen, headed by Sanja Kaltenbruner.
I met Sanja in the winter of 2022, and since then we have been collecting humanitarian aid for Ukraine together. A lot of people know her and bring things to her, then I pick up the things from her and we send them to Ukraine.

Diano e.v.

This is a non-profit organization and a dental association. The head of this organization is Mr. Bauer. We have been cooperating since the beginning of 2023, and LifeNets has received antiseptic medicines, alcohol wet wipes, beds for the elderly, toothpastes, and more from DIANO e.v.

In addition, I find a lot of things for free on the Internet, pick them up in the district of Singen and put them in a container (which I can rent thanks to LifeNets), and then we send them all together to Ukraine. I would say that LifeNets plays a key role in this chain. The biggest expenses are for transportation. Therefore, we thank everyone who donates and makes this work possible.
