People continually ask us about Jed Sy who is in prison in the Philippines with her brother Jong Pilapil. She sent over this gift for Beverly along with the accompanying note. We would like to share it with you.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kubik,
It was 10 years ago that my brother Jong and I met you personally. We were so blessed with your overflowing support for us. Your love for God’s people and your overflowing support to us have greatly helped us remain steadfast in faith.
We are always grateful for being so compassionate to us especially in times when we you’re your support to our common desire to reach out to the less fortunate.
Through the heartfelt dedication to service of Mr. and Mrs. Dobson and Mr. and Mrs. Gilos, we are enriched spiritually despite the horrible experiences we continue to encounter in our life in prison. Though we are being shaken with all kinds of trials that sometimes led us to our setback by God’s grace and mercy we are blessed to endure and overcome the struggle in our day-to-day life in prison.
May I take this opportunity to express our gratitude for the repair of our “Mother and Child Bonding Kiosks. Please also extend my thanks to all the benevolent supporters of the LifeNets Program.” From the water supply and the kiosks until the repair of the dilapidated kiosks, you have lightened the life of the prison. We can enjoy the blessings you have given us. My prayers go with all of you who lavishly share the love to one another to continue the Good Work for God’s glory.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely yours
Jed Pilapil Sy
I’m sending a souvenir for Mrs. Kubik. This is one of the new handicrafts of my fellow prisoner. I hope you like it
