2023 Thanksgiving Greetings from the Revival Center in Chernihiv, Ukraine

We have worked with these wonderful people since 1996--going on 30 years.  What a journey in helping children from Chernobyl a short distance to the West to now the invasion of Russia from the North where rockets and shelling come within 500 yards of the Revival Center!  But, they took the occasion of Thanksgiving Day to send us this wonderful greeting that Bev and I want to share with you.

November 23rd 2023

Our dear friends Victor and Beverly,

Today, we are glad to remember you on the occasion of Thanksgiving Day. Today, gives us us the opportunity to thank God, our family, and all our friends for goodness, kindness, sensitivity, selflessness, mutual understanding and encouragement and help us endure whatever kind of burdens we share, especially now, as there is a full-scale war in Ukraine. Together we are stronger!

We thank you for your dedication and generous assistance to the Center “Revival” and your concern for the problems of children with disabilities and the importance of their rehabilitation. It is clear that you will not lose sight of the pain that has plagued our people through Russian aggression in Ukraine.

We humbly acknowledge the intense and self-imposed work and the indefatigable faith in the future of our Ukraine. We hope that the Lord God sends you an exchange of goodness and His blessing! Let the effort of your life be fruitful, and this day will give you joyful moments, rare laughs, family peace, happiness, kindness, friendly relations, fun and joy. Wishing you great health and great energy, and may you live fully and enjoy your life with many blessings.

Happy Thanksgiving!

With thanksgiving,

Vasil, Natalia and everyone at the Revival Center
