Decmeber 11, 2021

Tornados tore through Kentucky Friday night and Saturday morning land devastated many communities. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has called it "the deadliest" in the state's history.

Mayfield was one of the hardest hit areas. My heart goes out to people in this area because I used to live in Paducah about 25 miles north. I was pastor of these people from 1974-1981.

The death toll in Kentucky has now exceeded 70, including 12 children as of this writing (Dec 15, 2021). The tornadoes hit much wider areas going through Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, and Illinois, leaving more dead. Six were killed when an Amazon warehouse collapsed in Illinois.

If you would like to help victims, LifeNets will make sure that your donation is used directly for victims' needs. Please pray for the families who had lost loved ones and for all people who will be without power and other services for some time to come.
